Continuing Growth of SR Science at SSRF
Synchrotron radiation news(2013)
摘要
The Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility (SSRF), a third-generation, medium-energy light source, consists of a 150-MeV electron linac, a full-energy booster, a 3.5-GeV storage ring, and beamlines. The construction of SSRF with seven Phase-I beamlines began on December 25, 2004, and was completed in April of 2009. The design performance of SSRF was achieved and in some cases exceeded [1–3]. Since then, it has become a very useful and powerful experimental platform for research in life science, physics, chemistry, materials science, environmental science, medicine, and other multidisciplinary fields in China.
