Outcomes for Patients with Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma Achieving a Complete Response on Targeted Therapy: A Registry-based Analysis.
European Urology(2016)
摘要
Therapies targeting the vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) are the mainstay of treatment for metastatic renal cell carcinoma. A registry was used to identify patients achieving a complete response (CR) on anti-VEGF treatment. The patients had excellent prognosis and the results suggest that targeted therapy can be discontinued at the time of CR without a detrimental effect on survival.
