Influence of Sn content on friction properties of Cu-cermet friction materials

Influence of Sn addition on friction properties of Cu-cermet friction materials was studied. It is shown that the small addition of Sn has little influence on friction coefficient, and marked influence on wear properties of Cu-cermet friction material. When 0.50%Sn, the wear of friction material and steel is slower.
