Study on Ag-Zn-Ti electrode of doped V2O3 PTC ceramics

摘要
The single firing-penetrating process was used to prepare the Ag-Zn-Ti electrode of doped V2O3 PTC ceramics, whose electrical properties were measured, and whose structure was studied by means of DTA-TG, XRD, and EPMA. The contact condition between the electrode and the ceramics matrix was also analyzed. The results show that (1) excellent ohmic contact is obtained between the electrode and the ceramics matrix; (2) the solid solution is formed with Zn and Ti dissolved in the Ag crystal-lattice; (3) Zn plays an important role in forming the ohmic contact.
