摘要
Angiocentric glioma is a newly classified benign disease with quite rare occurrence. It is characterized by causing medically intractable epilepsy in young people and histopathologically presenting elongated bipolar tumor cells with angiocentric growth pattern. In this article we report a unique case of angiocentric glioma with a history of ten-year postsurgical intractable epileptic seizures after previous subtotal resection. The patient then achieved complete symptomatic remission after our total resection of the tumor residue and epileptogenic cortex. Summary of this unique case and review of literature are both presented.
