Numerical investigations within the semiclassical transfer theory

A short review of the semiclassical transfer theory for neutron- and proton-transfer reactions is presented, which should serve as a guide for planning experiments. The transfer functions Bλ(gJ, ρ, ξ, δ) and Hλ(ρ, ξ, δ) describing the kinematics of the transfer reactions are tabulated in the form of contour plots. Furthermore, an estimate of the other quantities which occur in the cross-section formula is given.
