Audi Dynamic Steering as an Example of Distributed Joint Development

This contribution shows the status quo of the distributed joint development at Audi. As an example Audi dynamic steering, which requires due to the fact of it's complexity a model based function design, shows the development process from a software prototype to a series software. The suppliers are integrated in this Workflow and pass along with Audi through the different development cycles. The development of Audi dynamic steering is a reference project for further Audi-specific products. The main focus of this products will be on Dynamic Safety- and Comfortfunctions (Global Chassis Control), Assistance Functions (LDW Lane Departure Warning) and Corporate Group Specific Standard Functions (Diagnosis, Safety, etc.).
