Deformation energies of W, Os, Pt and Hg isotopes for β2-, β4- and γ-distortions

摘要
The importance of β4-distortions for the stability of the equilibrium shapes of W and Os isotopes is demonstrated. For Pt and Hg isotopes with mass numbers around A = 200 a second minimum at β2 ≈ 0.45 and γ = 0° has been found.
