Abstract
The bioconversion of partially detoxified acid hydrolysate of Spartina anglica to lipid by Trichosporon cutaneum was studied. The hydrolysis of S.anglica at 122 ℃,using four concentrations of sulfuric acid(1%,2%,4% and 6%),was investigated with a solid-liquid ratio of 10%.Maximal total reducing sugar was realized with 6% sulfuric acid for 40 min. Moreover,at 140 ℃ using 1% sulfuric acid, glucose was 14.2 g/L.The optimum concentrating factor of hydrolysate was 4.0.Under these conditions, the lipid was produced up to 5.9 g/L.This work provided valuable information for development of an efficient process to produce microbial lipid from Spartina anglica acid hydrolysate.
