Continuous Team Syntegrity - for Enhanced Knowledge Management

Knowledge Management (KM) is becoming increasingly important in the corporate environment of today. Basic knowledge concepts, which KM is built upon, have been debated for centuries. Stafford Beer has after years of experience and experiments in Cybernetic Management, developed a theory called Team Syntegrity. Outlining the theory are thoughts about a democratic, non-hierarchical and a creative forum for problem solving. Team Syntegrity is based on the geometric figure, namely the icosahedron. KM is a continuous event, Team Syntegrity is not. Nevertheless, these two concepts are striving in the same direction of taking care of human intellectual potential. Here, we have developed a KM method inspired of TS called Continuous Team Syntegrity (CTS). The CTS method uses the benefits of collecting explicit knowledge and leveraging the tacit knowledge, for a KM purpose.
