Optical model studies of proton scattering at 30 MeV (III). Polarization in Elastic Scattering by Ca, Co59, Ni58, Ni60, Sn120 and Pb208

摘要
Angular distributions are presented of the polarization produced in the elastic scattering of 30 MeV protons in the angular range 20°–120° (lab). Results for Ca, Co59, Ni58, Ni60, Sn120 and Pb208 show the characteristic oscillations well known at lower energies but exhibit higher maximum polarizations in general. The technique used involved the single scattering of a 30 MeV polarized proton beam.
