Cardiovascular disease and osteoporosis]

Cardiovascular diseases and osteoporosis are common diseases in clinical work. Due to the population aging,the incidence of the two diseases shows an obvious rising trend. However,the two diseases often accompany with each other in senile patients. In recent years,domestic and foreign scholars have conducted in-depth discussions on the relationship between these two diseases.Especially the correlation between osteoporosis and cardiovascular diseases such as coronary heart diseases,hypertension diseases,and chronic heart failure has attracted the attentions of many scholars. This paper elaborates the correlation between the two diseases according to literatures of basic research and clinical trials. At present,the study of the mechanism of cardiovascular diseases and osteoporosis has obtained preliminary results. Along with the approaching of the study and the elucidation of the relationship between these two diseases,it has positive significance for drug development to prevent and treat these two diseases simultaneously.
