405: Peri-Operative Hyperglycemia and Acute Cellular Rejection 12 Months after Lung Transplantation

There is growing interest in organ transplantation to identify potential peri-transplant exposures that contribute to transplant outcomes. Recent studies suggest that peri-operative hyperglycemia in renal and liver transplant recipients is associated with an increased risk of allograft rejection. The relationship between peri-operative hyperglycemia and acute rejection in lung transplant recipients has not been studied. Our objective was to evaluate the association between peri-operative glycemic control and acute cellular rejection (ACR) in lung transplant recipients.
