Exotic mesons within the M.I.T. bag model

摘要

We review the characteristics of exotic mesons consisting of interacting massless up and down quarks, antiquarks and gluons in the lowest cavity modes of a spherical cavity. The single particle energies and two-body interactions of the partons are described in the framework of perturbative cavity QCD at the tree level. Predictions for the masses and quantum numbers of baryonium (q2q-2), glueballs (g2, g3 and g4) and hybrids (qqgBAR, qqg2BAR and qqg3BAR) are discussed based on a unified description within the M.I.T. bag model.
