摘要

The production of Y mesons in fixed target pN collisions is considered. It is shown that non-relativistic QCD predicts Y states to be produced with sizeable transverse polarization. The possibility of a measurement of the Y polarization at the DESY HERA-B experiment is discussed. [S0556-2821(99)08909-2].
