A phase II study of vinorelbine monotherapy in the treatment of advanced non???small cell lung cancer in elderly Chinese population: P2-258

Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) has accounted for more than 3,000 new cases each year in Hong Kong with 5-year survival less than 15%. Chemotherapy is currently the “gold standard” treatment for advanced disease in those relatively young (<70 years old) with good performance status. However the benefit of chemotherapy in the elderly has been limited by the concerns about toxicities, which may have ethnic differences.
