Measurements of Psi(2s) Decays into Phi Pi(0), Phi Eta, Phi Eta ', Omega Eta, and Omega Eta '
arXiv (Cornell University)(2004)
Abstract
Decays of the psi(2S) into vector plus pseudoscalar meson final states have been studied with 14x10(6) psi(2S) events collected with the BESII detector. Branching fractions of psi(2S)-->phieta, phieta('), and omegaeta('), and upper limits of psi(2S)-->phipi(0) and omegaeta are obtained: B(psi(2S)-->phieta)=(3.3+/-1.1+/-0.5)x10(-5), B(psi(2S)-->phieta('))=(3.1+/-1.4+/-0.7)x10(-5), and B(psi(2S)-->omegaeta')=(3.2(-2.0)(+2.4)+/-0.7)x10(-5); and B(psi(2S)-->phipi(0))<0.40x10(-5), and B(psi(2S)-->omegaeta)<3.1x10(-5) at the 90% C.L. These results are used to test the perturbative QCD "12% rule."
