Discussion on Angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors in treatment of Alzheimer's disease combined with hypertension

Objective To discuss the clinical effect of Angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors in treatment of Alzheimer's disease combined with hypertension.Methods Eighty cases of patients with Alzheimer's disease combined with hypertension in our hospital were selected,and divided into treatment group and control group,each group had 40 cases.Control group was given Nitrendipine,and treatment group was given Nitrendipine combined with Enalapril.The change of blood pressure and the scores of mini mental state examination (MMSE) of two groups were observed,and the clinical effects of two groups were compared.Results After treatment,systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure of treatment group were lower than that of control group (P0.05),Index score of MMSE and the total score of MMSE in treatment group were higher than that of control group (P0.05).Conclusion Angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease combined with hypertension has a good curative effect,and it is worthy to use in clinic.
