Vertebral artery dissection as a cause of a pure motor C5/C6 radiculopathy

Introduction: Vertebral artery dissection usually presents with brain stem ischemia and neck pain, rarely with spinal ischemia. Here, we present a patient who suffered from a left sided C5/C6 syndrom caused by an ipsilateral vertebral artery dissection.
