He is interested in the domains of neuro-symbolic methods, programming languages (PL), security, and machine learning (ML). Recently, he is focusing on building and extending Scallop, a neuro-symbolic programming language, in order to bridge the world of classical programming and automated reasoning with deep learning. He is awarded the AWS Fellowship 2023 for conducting research on trustworthy AI.
