Zhongyuan Lai

Zhongyuan Lai is an assistant researcher at the Institute for Interdisciplinary Research, Jianghan University. He received his B.E. degrees in communication engineering from the Department of Electronics and Information Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2007, and his Ph.D. degree in communication and information system from the same university in 2013. He was a research assistant at the Nanyang Technological University from 2011 to 2012. He serves as a reviewer for the IEEE Signal Processing Letters, Journal of Visual Communication and Image Representation, and SPIE Journal of Electronic Imaging. His current research interests include image/video compression and pattern recognition. He is a member of IEICE.
