Yuri V. Rodin

Yury Rodin was born in Gorky, Russia, in 1960. He received the M.S. degree in radio engineering from the Gorky Polytechnic Institute, Gorky, in 1984. He has been with the Institute of Applied Physics, Russian Academy of Sciences, Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, since 1979. He has authored and co-authored 14 refereed articles and 19 conference papers. He holds one patent. His current research interests include high-power measurements of microwaves, control of wave beam parameters, and gyrotron transmission lines. Mr. Rodin was a recipient of a Soros Grant in 1993.
