My main interest is about lupus (clinical behavior, patient education and the impact of this on clinical outcomes and quality of life). I led a line of research on cardiovascular disease in rheumatoid arthritis and lupus and developed a research on CIR by Chik-V with important contributions on the appearance of de novo rheumatic diseases in these patients. I actively participate in projects promoted by PANLAR's research unit, as well as GRESGO (Gout study) and other independent groups.
