Yu Zhang

Yu Zhang received the B. S. degree in optoelectronics from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2010 and the Ph.D. degree in electronic and computer engineering from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong, in 2016. He is currently an Assistant Project Scientist in electrical and computer engineering with the University of California, Davis, CA, USA. His current research interest focuses on 3D integrated silicon photonic optical phased array, hybrid silicon laser, amplifier and phase modulators and silicon photonic integrated circuit enabled all-to-all interconnection for scalable high-performance computing systems.
