I am currently an associate medical director in Clinical development at Biogen focusing on immunology and rheumatic diseases, currently leading a phase 3 pivotal trial in SLE and working in other rheumatic musculoskeletal diseases (RMD)/Immunology drug development . I have over 12 years of experience in clinical medicine and over 9 years in clinical rheumatology. I am US Board certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine and a clinical researcher with experience in Rheumatology and Immunology. Following my experience in treating patients with Lupus and other RMD in academia at Boston University/Boston Medical Center where i worked closely in a multispecialty clinics as well as Harvard Vanguard in general rheumatology,i joined the pharmaceutical industry in April 2021. I still hold a per diem monthly clinic at Boston Medical Center. Aspiring for leadership, building teams with scientific curiosity, competence, and collaborative project initiatives. Known for being an educator and a mentor for medical students, graduate students and rheumatologist in training.
