Yongsup Park was born in Milyang, Korea, in 1963. He received the B.S. degree in physics education and the M.S. degree in physics from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea, in 1986 and 1988, respectively, and the Ph.D. in physics from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL, in 1994. From 1994 to 1996, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Rochester, Rochester, NY, where he studied the interfaces of organic light-emitting diodes. For almost ten years from 1997, he was with Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science, Daejeon, Korea, initially as a Research Scientist and later as a Group Leader. Since 2006, he has been with the Faculty of the Department of Physics, Kyung Hee University, Seoul, where he is currently an Associate Professor. His major research interests include the investigation of metal–organic and organic–organic interfaces in a variety of organic optoelectronic devices using electron spectroscopy techniques.
