Yi Liao

Yi Liao currently works at the Department of Drug Discovery, Moffitt Cancer Center. Yi does research in Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacology and Chemical Biology. Their current project is 'Detecting the polypharmacology of kinase inhibitors'.I graduated with Ph.D degree in early 2018 and currently work as a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. Uwe Rix's laboratory at Moffitt Cancer Center. My research experience lies in the field of Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology, which focuses on rational anti-cancer compound design, electrophiles and dual-acting compounds synthesis, and their biological characterization. I have gained diverse experience in chemical synthesis skills, chemical proteomics, and biological techniques.
