Yan Yu

Yan Yu received the B.Sc. degree (with honors) in physics from Queen Mary College, University of London, London, U.K., in 1983, and the Ph.D. degree in atomic, molecular, and optical physics from the University College, University of London. After completing a clinical fellowship in medical physics, he was on the faculty of the University of Rochester Medical Center from 1994 to 2006. He is currently a Professor and Associate Director of medical physics at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, PA. Prof. Yu is a member of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine, the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, the American Board of Surgery, and the American College of Radiology.
