Yasaman Zia

Yasaman Zia is currently a professional researcher at the Bixby Center of Global Reproductive Health. She is social epidemiologist conducting multidisciplinary research on global gender issues, with an emphasis on contraception and abortion outcomes. She received her doctorate in Epidemiology from the University of Washington, where she was awarded NIH F31 funding for her research on the impact of empowerment, stigma, and structural factors on adolescent girls and young women.
