My current research interests is directed along three broad themes: 1) carbon and silicon cycles, and biogeochemical effects of laminated diatom mat deposits, 2)biogeochmical and paleoceanographic influences of Southern Ocean deep ventilation on tropical West Pacific, and 3) reconstruction of carbonate system in the upper Water from tropical West Pacific on orbital and millennial timescales.
