Xingang Fu

Xingang Fu (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in applied mathematics from the Ocean University of China, Qingdao, China, in 2005 and 2009, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from The University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, AL, USA, in 2015. He worked as an Assistant Professor of Practice/Visiting Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Texas A&M University, Kingsville, TX, USA. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical and Biomedical Engineering, University of Nevada–Reno, Reno, NV, USA. His main research interests include neural network control, deep learning, embedded artificial intelligence, heterogeneous computing, power electronics, renewable energy, solar integration, and electric drives.
