Bio
Xiaoyue Cao (Member, IEEE) received the bachelor’s degree in geophysics from the College of Geo-Exploration Science and Technology, Jilin University, Changchun, China, in 2014, and the Ph.D. degree in geophysics from Jilin University in 2019.
Since 2019, he has been a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with the Key Laboratory of Exploration Technologies for Oil and Gas Resources (Yangtze University), Ministry of Education, Wuhan, China. He is a Post-Doctoral Fellow with Yangtze University, where he is also a Lecturer with the Department of Solid Geophysics, College of Geophysics and Petroleum Resources. His research interests include electromagnetic forward modeling and inversion theory for 3-D frequency-domain electromagnetic (EM) [MT, controlled source electromagnetics (CSEM), and Z-axis tipper electromagnetic (ZTEM)] methods with FE and unstructured grids method, petrophysical complex resistivity measurement and parameters inversion, study on the electrical anisotropy of the Earth’s interior and unconventional oil and gas exploration.
