Xavier Fioramonti

My work focuses on studying the impact of metabolic cues (nutrients, hormones) and metabolic diseases (Diabetes, Obesity) on brain networks controlling food intake, energy homeostasis and emotional behavior. I developed unique and original skills including electrophysiology, imaging and rodent behavior approaches to study neuronal populations capable of detecting changes in nutrients or hormones level.
