William Xiang Quan Ngiam

I study how visual information is maintained for ongoing perception and cognition. My focus is on how working memory representations are formed, in hopes of better understanding why the amount of information that can be held online is sharply limited. I use a combination of psychophysical methods, computational modeling, and electroencephalography (EEG). I am also an advocate for rigorous and Open Science through efforts such as ReproducibiliTea.
