Saskia Steinmann

I am a neuroscientist with a focus on psychiatric disorders, specifically schizophrenia, depression and borderline personality disorder. My passion lies within the pathophysiological mechanism of auditory verbal hallucinations. I conduct research with multiple neuroimaging modalities (MRI, dMRI, EEG) and apply various neurostimulation methods (tACS, pharmacological interventions and neurofeedback) to ascertain a greater understanding of the underlying mechanism and to develope new treatments.
