Jos Westenberg

Jos works as an Associate professor at the department of Radiology of the Leiden University Medical Center. His main research focuses are cardiovascular MRI and blood flow. Jos studied Applied Physics at University of Technology in Eindhoven. After military service, he came to Leiden at the end of 1994 to start his PhD study on MR angiography. After his PhD defense in 1999 he continued to work at the department of Radiology on self-acquired research grants, first as a Postdoc, Assistant professor and since 2015, Associate professor (positioned in the Cardiovascular imaging group / CJ Gorter center).
