Her research focuses on the role of psychosocial factors in the experience and impact of chronic pain. She is interested in psychological treatments, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), for chronic pain management. Her research has also explored online delivery of ACT and chronic pain management in specific populations (e.g., people living with HIV). She has previously received funding from the International Association for the Study of Pain and the National Institute for Health Research.
