Wondwosen Metaferia

Born and raised in Ethiopia, Wondwosen attended Addis Ababa University and obtained BSc and MSc in Applied Physics in 2004 and 2007, respectively. Wondwosen come to Europe in 2007 and obtained a joint MSc (Erasmus Mundus) in Photonics Engineering from three Universities, University of Gent and Free University of Brussels, Belgium and Royal institute of Technology (KTH), Sweden, in 2009. He received his PhD from the school of information and communication technology, KTH in microelectronics and applied Physics in 2014. Wondwosen then joined NanoLund center, Lund University, as a postdoctoral fellow with Professor Lars Samuelson where he is currently a researcher. He has been involved in several national and international projects as a scientist and a project coordinator and collaborated with Universities and industries all over the world including Harvard University and Intel. Wondwosen has years of experience in teaching physics and nanotechnology both in universities in Ethiopia and Sweden.
