McClelland Verity M

Verity M. McClelland received the Ph.D. degree from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne, U.K., in 1999, investigating descending modulation of upper limb reflex patterns in healthy humans, adults with stroke and children with cerebral palsy. She continued training in clinical Paediatric Neurology, including at St. Thomas’ Hospital, London, U.K. and received an NIHR Academic Clinical Lectureship in Clinical Neurophysiology at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, Kings College London, London, U.K., from 2008 to 2016. She currently works as a Locum Consultant in clinical neurophysiology at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, London, and has recently been awarded a Postdoctoral Clinical Research Training Fellowship from the Medical Research Council to further investigate sensory abnormalities in childhood dystonia.
