Alessandro Veneziani is Associate Professor with the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Emory University since 2007. He was previously Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematics of the Technical University of Milan, Italy (2002–2007) and Assistant Professor at the Department of Science and Technology at the University of Verona, Italy (1997–2000). He has a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Milan and a Master in Electronic Engineering from the Technical University of Milan. His research interests concern computational fluid dynamics, with particular application to hemodynamics and industrial problems, numerical partial differential equations, inverse problems. He is editor of two books on computational hemodynamics and author of a book on numerical PDEs.
