Valdir Braga

Prof. Valdir A. Braga, D.V.M. Ph.D. currently is the Director of the Biotechnology Center at the Federal University of Paraiba in Brazil. His main research focuses on the underlying mechanisms that leads to arterial hypertension. He is a Fellow (Level 1B) of the major Brazilian funding agency (CNPq). Dr. Braga has published over 100 manuscripts and mentored several Master and Ph.D. students. His team has collaborations with groups from the United States, Sweden, France, Taiwan, Pakistan, and Australia.
