Improving the therapeutic window for immunotoxins and other antibody-drug conjugates is an important goal towards their effective clinical utility. My research interests lie in achieving this for leukaemia and lymphoma by modifying the intracellular trafficking of antibody-based drugs in the target cancer cell and also by harnessing the patients own innate immune response to work synergistically alongside antibody delivered drug- or toxin-mediated killing.
