个人简介
I graduated from Tomsk State University, Physical Department in 1999. My education includes Bachelor's Degree (1989-1994), Master's Degree (1994-1996), and graduation in 1996-1999 to defend my PhD thesis in optics at 2002. I worked with several research groups in Russia (1999-2003, 2009-now), Canada (2004-2005), Japan (2006-2009) and United States (2010-2013). From 11.05.2013, I am a leading researcher at the Photophysics and Photochemistry of Molecules lab at Tomsk State University (TSU), Russia.
My research experience was initiated in Siberian Physical-Technical Institute (SPTI) at TSU (1999-2003), where I dealt with spectral-luminescent and photo-chemical properties of organic compounds, in particular, photo-dissociation of substituted 2,5-diphenyloxazole (PPO) laser dye, development and implementation in computational codes of spin-orbital interaction for light elements, investigation of energy transfers in organic molecular complexes, as well as calculation of photo-physical parameters for hydrofullerenes, basic sex hormones of the cyclopentenephenanthrene series, and substituted pyranes and cyanine dyes.
My international activity started in Canada, Steacie Institute for Molecular Sciences (SIMS) from 16.02.2004 through 31.07.2005 and University of Manitoba (01.02.2006-28.09.2006) where I studied the Finite Element approach and other methods to apply for multiscale programing of huge molecular systems with photoactive fragments. This work was continued and extended in Japan, Kyushu University (28.09.2006-28.09.2008), where I investigated photo-physical properties of estradiol, tryptophan and other organic molecules in various model environments including of small protein chain under different thermodynamic conditions using the divide-and-conquer “in part” Elongation method and a Statistical Quantum-Mechanical/Molecular-Dynamical (SQMMD) technique proposed by me for generating spectral manifolds. Next year (01.10.2008-30.09.2009), I was employed as a researcher of the Knowledgenet Corporation in Toyota Motor Corporation, Higashi-Fuji Laboratory to investigate absorptivity on cathodes or coating surfaces, ion diffusion in an electrolyte, thermal stability and conductivity in secondary Li-ion.
Than, I held a permanent position as senior researcher at the Siberian Federal University, Krasnoyarsk, Russia between 01.11.2009 and 10.11.2013. At the same time from 04.30.2010-04.15.2013 I was a postdoctoral associate at the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and a visiting researcher in the Radiation Laboratory of Notre Dame University of Notre Dame University, USA for training and studying advanced technologies in computational molecular sciences to extend and improve my knowledge, skills, and theoretical background in the field of structural chemistry and chemical reactions. During this period I was developing effective pairwise intra- and intermolecular force field potentials for the interaction of actinyl ions with water and improving the SQMMD method for thermo-dynamical contours of electronic-vibrational spectra for polycyclic organic molecules in various solvents.
Currently, I’m taking part in different projects that deal with luminescence shifts in organometallic coordinations, structural and electronic properties of doped and vacated carbon allotropes, fluorescence quenching of proteins by embedded ligands using multiscale and SQMMD methods, and inheritance of photochromic properties in hybrid molecular compounds based on derivatives of fullerenes and graphene.
