Victor A. Lifton

Victor A. Lifton (M'96) received the M.S. degree from Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys, Moscow, Russia, in 1993, and the Ph.D. degree in materials science and engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, NJ, in 1999. From 1999 to 2004, he held various R&D positions in semiconductor processing and microelectromechanical system fabrication at Measurement Specialties, Inc., Kulite Semiconductor Products, and Bell Laboratories. In 2004, he joined mPhase Technologies, Little Falls, NJ, as a Senior Member of Technical Staff and in 2006 became a Chief Scientist. His job responsibilities included basic and applied R&D activities in the company's efforts in nanotechnology and commercialization of nanotechnology-based products such as reserve microbatteries.
