Vladimir Kalegaev

Vladimir Kalegaev is the Head of the Laboratory of Space Research, Skobeltsyn Institute of Nuclear Physics, Moscow State University, Moscow, Russia, where he is also the Head of the Space Monitoring Data Center and leads a scientific group that studies radiation conditions in the near-Earth space environment. His area of research is the study of global electrodynamics of the Earth’s magnetosphere: solar wind–magnetosphere coupling, dynamics of large-scale magnetospheric current systems, particle fluxes, and magnetospheric magnetic field variations during magnetic storms.
