Urszula Radzikowska

Urszula Radzikowska, Ph.D. is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Immune Metabolism Group led by Milena Sokolowska, MD, Ph.D., PD at the Swiss Institute of Allergy and Asthma Research (SIAF) in Davos, Switzerland. She received her Ph.D. in 2022 from the Medical University of Bialystok, Poland, working on rhinovirus-induced epithelial RIG-I inflammasome activation in asthma and COVID-19. She is skilled in cell and tissue culture (Air-liquid interface, organoids, lung on the chip), viral infection models (Biosafety level 2 and 3), gene editing techniques (siRNA, shRNA, CRISP-Cas9), functional real-time metabolism assessment (Seahorse), flow cytometry and sorting (Aria III, Fortessa), imaging techniques (confocal microscopy, CyTOF), transcriptomic techniques (RNA-sequencing, RT-qPCR), proteomics and metabolomics methods (ELISA, Bioplex, MSD, Proximity Extension Assay (Olink), LC-MS/MS), big data analysis and interpretation (R, Metacore, STRING, Cytoscape), statistical and biostatistical analysis (R, GraphPad Prism). She holds a secretary position in the Working Group of Genomics and Proteomics at the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI). She serves as the scientific referee for peer-reviewed journals: Allergy (from 2019), Heliyon - Cell Press (from 2022), and Central European Journal of Immunology (from 2022).
