Tsung-Hsun Yang was born in Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C., in 1966. He received the M.S. degree in physics from the National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 1990 and the Ph.D. degree in electro-optics engineering from the National Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 1998. From 1998 to 2000, he was with the Department of Physics, National Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan, as a post-doctoral Fellow. In 2000, he joined the Institute of Electro-optics, National Chiao Tung Univeristy as a post-doctoral Fellow. His current research interests include the optical communications and the stochastic resonance phenomena in nonlinear dynamical systems.
