His research focuses on outcomes after neurosurgery, neurooncology and neurocognition. He has published 130 peer reviewed scientific articles and 40 book chapters, and given more than 230 lectures at international meetings and courses.

His clinical interests include skull base surgery, cerebrovascular surgery, complex craniofacial reconstructions, craniopharyngiomas, low-grade gliomas & awake craniotomies, and orbital tumors.
