Bio

Tomáš Zikmund was born in 1984. He received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the Brno University of Technology, Brno, Czech, in 2008 and 2014, respectively. He is currently the Head of the Laboratory of X-ray Micro and Nano Computed Tomography (CT), CEITEC BUT. His research interest is focused on X-ray CT and image processing of soft tissue (cartilage tissue, mouse brain, bile duct system in liver, biodegradable composites, stem cells) and correlations of 2-D imaging techniques with 3-D data of X-ray CT.
