Timo Sajavaara was born in Finland in 1973. He received the M.Sc. degree from the University of Helsinki, Helsinki, Finland, in 1997. He is a member of the National Graduate School in Materials Physics. His research interests include characterization and modification of materials with ion beams, scanning probe microscopy, and electron microscopy.
